Mindfulness and meditation have a wide range of benefits for both physical and mental health.

David’s purpose is to provide mindfulness and meditation training to people of all levels of experience.

He tailors the instructions and practice to the participants, making the training as accessible as possible.

 

Principles of mindfulness and meditation training:

  • Emphasis is placed on trusting your own life experience and self-knowledge.
  • Questions and personal needs are freely expressed.
  • The goal is to become your own teacher.
  • Mindfulness and meditation restore us to our natural state of ease.
  • David has a regular mindfulness and meditation practice and encourages others who want to incorporate this into their daily life.

 

Courses and Training:

David teaches mindfulness and meditation for Mindfulness Works and The Cancer Society in Nelson.

He facilitates regular practice groups, workshops, residential retreats and also works one-to-one for individual support.
